VISA EXTENSION FOR LESOTHO NATIONALS

by | Dec 18, 2024 | 0 comments

Since the recent extension for Zimbabwean Exemption Permit (ZEP) holders, the Minister of Home Affairs has also announced an extension of Lesotho Exemption Permits (LEP’s) until 28 November 2025.

The Minister’s reasons for the extension of LEP’s are identical to those given in respect of ZEP’s – for access to the Government Gazette CLICK HERE.

While these extensions are welcomed, they do not address the challenges faced by other foreigners who are struggling to obtain visas/work permits. See our previous discussion at https://labourwise.co.za/labour-news-teazer/visa-extension-for-zimbabweans-but-what-about-other-foreigners
